Belmont 12, Rutherford County 11: Down 11-2 to start the seventh, Belmont scored 10 runs to secure a miraculous come-from-behind win to start North Carolina Junior American Legion Final Four in Manteo.

Andrew Warren capped a 3-for-3 night with the game-winning hit, bringing in Will Rhinehart and Brian Millette. Warren had three RBIs in the game as well.

A seven-run fifth inning gave Rutherford County an 11-1 lead through the top of the fifth.Belmont answered with a run in the bottom half of the frame, before scoring 10 in the seventh.

Hunter Hogue also had a multi-hit game for Belmont, going 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. He also scored three runs.

Millette, along with Quinton Harte, Beau Adams and Ryan Triplett also had hits in the game.

Belmont will take on South Caldwell in a winner’s bracket matchup at 3 p.m.

South Caldwell 4, Dallas 1: Will play Rutherford County in an elimination game at noon.
