Forestview 10, South Point 1: Jackson Harbin went 5 2-3 innings for the win and Jackson Daly pitched the final 1 1-3 innings for the Jaguars (4-2), who host Burns on Friday night. Jason Oden had two hits, including a three-run home run, and Jake England and Keanu Buentipo had two hits each to lead the Forestview offense.
Burns 10, Bessemer City 0 (5 innings): Wade Walker had two hits and three RBIs for Burns in a road win at Bessemer City.
Bandys 10, Lincoln Charter 0 (5 innings): Lincoln Charter (3-1) hosts Highland Tech on Friday.
Stuart Cramer 16, Highland Tech 6 (5 innings): Alex Koch pitched four innings for the win and Justin Moster (four hits, two RBIs), Jason Maggs (three hits, four RBIs), Carter Merrill (two doubles) and Landon Helton (two hits) led the offense for Cramer (3-3), which hosts North Gaston on Friday.
Cherryville 11, Thomas Jefferson 0 (5 innings on Tuesday): Brent Walls and Matt Cain combined on a three-hitter for the Ironmen (3-2), who also got two hits apiece from Walls, Johnathan McSwain and Hunter Melton and three RBIs from Dalton Pence.
Piedmont CC 12, Sugar Creek Charter 1 (5 innings on Tuesday): Austin Huffman struck out eight in a complete-game two-hitter and Micah Tribble had three RBIs for the Patriots.
High school softball
Stuart Cramer 6, East Gaston 4: Tiara Davis (two hits, home run, double, two runs), Jayda Watkins (triple, two runs) and Carley Womack (two hits, one run, two stolen bases) led the Storm on offense and Womack went seven innings with three strikeouts and two earned runs for Cramer (5-2), which hosts North Gaston on Friday.
South Point 20, Forestview 4: Hana McKee had five hits and Hannah Brewer was the winner for South Point (4-3), which hosts Shelby on Friday at 6 p.m.
Clover 7, Nation Ford 6 (Tuesday): Marissa Myers had three hits and Tiffany Domingue two and Olivia Laney and Gracie McSwain were the pitchers for the Blue Eagles (1-4), who host Fort Mill on Friday.
Cherryville 4, Thomas Jefferson 1 (8 innings on Tuesday): Taryn Jenkins was the winning pitcher and Jenkins, Katie Camp, Brooke Henley and Michele Munzos were the top hitters.
West Lincoln 12, Newton-Conover 11 (Tuesday): Adison Rhyne and Katie Willis were the pitchers and Katie Gilmore had four hits and three RBIs for the Rebels.
North Lincoln 6, East Lincoln 3 (Tuesday): The Knights scored six in the bottom of the sixth inning to down the Mustangs, who got a two-run home run from Katelynn Crowe and a solo home run from Faith Cooke.
Gaston Christian 9, Charlotte Christian 6 (Tuesday): Madelyn Bolick had two hits and two RBIs and Crenshaw struck out five in a complete game victory for the Eagles.
High school girls soccer
Stuart Cramer 6, Burns 1 (Tuesday): Zoe Bourque (three goals, one assist), Courtney Mullis (two goals) and Reese Bowser (one goal) led the Storm (4-3, 1-0), which hosts North Gaston on Friday.
High school boys tennis
South Point 6, East Gaston 3: Jude Allman, Tu Lee, Will Jurchak and Tyler Miller were singles winners and Dharmin Patel-Lee and Jurchak-Grayson Dunbar were doubles winners for South Point.
Forestview 8, Stuart Cramer 1 (Tuesday): Charlie Schuls, Carson Mumpower, Connor Pridnia, Drew Hughlett, Kyle LaCourse and Connor Glaza won singles matches and Ben Harris-Nick Fertitta and Phillips Albright-Connor Hobbs won doubles matches for the the Jaguars. Andrew Ingram-Noah Hansil won a doubles match for Stuart Cramer.

Metrolina Christian 161, Gaston Christian 210 (Tuesday): Haddon Barrett (48), Caleb Smyre (49) and Ethan Thrower (50) were low scorers for the Eagles on Tuesday at Rolling Hills Country Club in Monroe.
Middle school baseball
Kings Mountain 12, Lincolnton 1 (Tuesday): Charlie Melton and Peyton Fisher combined to strike out 17 in a one-hitter and Caleb Broome hit a three-run home run and Fisher a two-run home run. And Melton, Braiden Garris and Kenyon Moore had two hits apiece for the Patriots (2-1, 1-0).
Middle school girls soccer
Kings Mountain 7, Lincolnton 0 (Tuesday): The Patriots (1-1) visit North Lincoln on Thursday.
College women's lacrosse
Belmont Abbey 14, Wingate 13: Rebecca Luca scored six goals to lead the Crusaders (5-2) to a come-from-behind victory. Luca finished with eight goals and Allison Cline had one goal and two assists for Belmont Abbey, which hosts Chowan on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Gastonia's Evan Wachendorf finished third last weekend at the AAU Indoor National Championships shot put last weekend in Landover, Md. Wachendorf participates for the Gastonia Eagles Track and Field team.
The second annual Gaston County Fellowship of Christian Athletes golf tournament will be played April 23 at Cramer Mountain Country Club. Team sponsorship is $500 and individuals can play for $125.
