ELON — Syracuse defeated Elon 4-2 despite a late Phoenix rally in Tuesday’s non-conference softball game at Hunt Softball Park.

A two-run home run from freshman Ally Repko in the bottom of the seventh gave Elon (13-9) its runs. Syracuse (13-7) held a 9-2 edge in hits. Elon’s Kara Shutt had a 19-game hitting streak end. Kenna Quinn (2-3) took the loss.

This game was moved from today up a day because of weather concerns.
