After a three-year break, the preseason event returned to Ashley

Wilmington Christian Academy will begin its quest for a fifth consecutive NCCSA 2A state title on Aug. 21 at Topsail. Trask also opens the same day at North Brunswick.
Pender gets underway at Laney on Monday, while Whiteville opens at the Black and Gold Classic at UNC Pembroke on Aug. 19.
