My name is Rita Farmer and I live in Mount Holly.

I would like to tell you the good news: Frances Charlene High is running in District 110 for the N.C. House. She is a conservative Republican!

I have known Charlene and her family since the 1970s. I watched her grow up into a fine, sincere, professional Christian women. I was further impressed with Charlene when her mother (my dear friend) became ill. Charlene watched over her like a mother hen. Hospital, rehab and then she took her into her own home and gave her meticulous care for over 5 years. I greatly admired her caring nature and dedication to her family.

She retired from the Gaston County School System after 29 years as a school councelor. She has served as a volunteer chaplin at Billy Graham and on numerous mission and disaster relief and recovery trips.

She walked and worked so hard that the soles of her shoes literaly fell off. (Ha) I have pictures. I know she will work very hard for the citizens of District 110 and North Carolina.

Throughout the campaign, she has knocked on hundreds of doors in District 110. Met many of you.

Through rain, sleet, snow and sunshine she continued. Very tenatious and very confident. Always willing to listen.

I truly feel that North Carolina would be much better served once Charlene gets there. We need represenatives who will listen, get the information needed and take action.

If I could vote for her in the primary on May 8 (early voting on April 19th), I would. When you vote, vote to take the High road. We will all be better served by Charlene High.

Thank you.
