To the editor:
I'm concerned about the planned personal meeting between North Korea Kim and USA President Trump. The latest bid for peace (supposedly) by Kim has been reported in Friday's article published March 9 titled, "SKorea: Trump to meet Kim by May." As the headline reports Trump agrees to meet Kim by May of this year. However, the date and the place is up in the air.
I don't really trust Kim and Trump should not either. Kim promises peace if Trump comes to North Korea. Really? Or is it an attempt to assassinate Trump?
Remember what Kim did to Otto Warmbiar? He was the American student touring North Korea with a Chinese tour group. He tore off a propaganda flier from the hotel as a souvenir. Kim's regime beat him so bad he was near death. Then they sent him back to the U.S. because they didn't want him to die in their country. Shorty after he arrived in the U.S. he died. The result: No more Americans are allowed to tour North Korea. The North Koreans said that was a "vile measure."
What about Kim Jong Nam, the half-brother of Kim? He was assassinated in a Malaysian airport with UX nerve agent Feb. 13, 2017. He knew his life was in danger because he carried 12 bottles of Atropine, the antidote. But because of the strength of the nerve gas there was no antidote. Police charged two women with the crime, but Kim denied that he was responsible for the slaying. However, I think it was so convenient for him that a competitor to the his throne was assassinated.
At the winter Olympics in February Kim's sister sat behind Pence. I felt nervous that she was so close to our vice-president. Then she invited South Korea's leader to North Korea. When he came to North Korea, Kim is using him to draw Trump to North Korea. What a devious plot! Trump feels compelled to come because of a campaign promise to deal with the threat of North Korea, but I believe Kim is using that to put a noose around Trump's neck.
In the Bible, after the Babylonian captivity of Judah, Johanan and the remnant of the Jews told the Governor Gedaliah (appointed by the King of Babylon) that Ishmael would slay him. But the Governor didn't believe him. (Jeremiah 40;13-16) But Ishmael did slay him. (Jeremiah 41:2)
Now suddenly, Kim wants to negotiate a peace deal. R-I-G-H-T??? If you believe that, then I have some swamp land in Florida to sell you. A Bible verse reads,."...can a leopard change his spots, then ye may also do good which are accustomed to do evil." To me, it is obvious that a noose is laid up for Trump by Kim. May God intervene and save Trump's life!
