ASHEBORO — Habitat for Humanity of Randolph County is sponsoring a chicken pie dinner for long-time site supervisor, Kenneth Lampart, who retired from Habitat after several years of service. Lampart is also a double amputee.


This benefit will be held Tuesday, July 24, from 6-7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 420 W. Walker Ave., Asheboro.


Cost is $10 per person. Plate includes chicken pie, creamed potatoes, slaw, dessert and beverage.


Tickets are available at the Habitat office, 3060 S. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, or at the door the night of the benefit. Dine-in and take-out will be available.


Proceeds from the event will assist in providing accessibility and medical expenses.
