ASHEBORO — The Randolph Arts Guild will take a trip to see the Chihuly exhibit at Biltmore in Asheville on Friday-Saturday, Aug. 10-11.


This art exhibition is a first for Biltmore’s historic gardens and the first garden exhibition of Dale Chihuly’s works in North Carolina. The world-renowned American artist’s work is included in more than 200 museum collections worldwide.


The tour will leave on Friday, Aug. 10, at 9:30 a.m. from the guild and travel by motor coach to Asheville, check in at the Hampton Inn and Suites at Biltmore Village, then head over to Biltmore to enjoy an afternoon and evening at the estate.


Cost per person will be $138, including transportation and a ticket to the exhibit. The Biltmore ticket includes a day tour of the garden, wine tasting, evening tour of the first floor of the house and the exhibit. A room block is reserved at $139 per night, which does not include tax and related charges, but includes a private buffet breakfast on Saturday.


The trip is limited to 30 travelers. Payment of $138 is due by July 6.
