A Lexington man was charged with breaking into the residence of a Thomasville police officer and stealing more than $3,000 worth of items, according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office. 

Terry Antonio White, 27, of 102-B Camden Circle, was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and larceny of a firearm.

An arrest report stated White stole two televisions, an Xbox 360, HP laptop, women's wedding band, men's wedding band, PT Armor bulletproof vest, black leather duty belt, set of Smith & Wesson handcuffs, ASP baton, level III gun holster and two pistol magazines for a .45-caliber Glock handgun, which was the property of a Thomasville police officer. The stolen property was worth $3,460.

White also stole a Mossberg 20-guage pump action shotgun and a .243-caliber Marlin bolt action rifle.

White is being held under a $50,000 secured bond. His court date is May 7.
