The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store Wednesday morning in Greer.

Deputies responded at 3 a.m. to the Li'l Cricket at 1906 Highway 101 South for a reported robbery.

The store's clerk told deputies that she was was working behind the counter when a man wearing a white "Scream" mask entered the store.

According to a Sheriff's Office incident report, the suspect told the clerk to get down and give him all the money from the register because he had a gun. The clerk then got down to the floor and told the suspect to get the money himself.

The robber began hitting the buttons on the cash register but was unable to open the register. According to the report, the clerk then opened the register. The suspect took money from the register and stole seven cigarette cartons from the store, placing them in his jacket.

According to the report, the man was also wearing a blue windbreaker, dark pants and blue surgical gloves.
