A Grayson Creek Assisted Living employee has been charged with falsely using a resident's credit card, according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.

Cianna Tynece Moore, 25, of 26 Pine Bluff Drive, was charged with five counts of obtaining property by false pretense, financial card theft and exploiting the elderly.

The Sheriff's Office said that Shelia Rogers, a resident at Grayson Creek, reported to officials that her Wells Fargo credit card had been used for fraudulent purposes. Authorities said Moore obtained a Wells Fargo credit card issued to Rogers and used it on Nov. 27 to make purchases in Lexington and Salisbury totaling $1,016.80.

Moore was placed under a $2,000 secured bond. Her court date is April 24.
