The Alamance-Burlington School System is hosting a communitywide college fair for Alamance County students, grades K–12 in public or private schools, and their parents.

The event is free, and runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 19, at the Mebane Arts Center, 622 Corregidor St., Mebane.

Representatives from nearly 40 public and private colleges and universities, from North Carolina and across the nation, will be present, along with military recruiters.

Parents and students also can attend free information sessions:

5:30–5:55 p.m.;
6–6:25 p.m.;
6:30–6:55 p.m.;
7–7:25 p.m.; and
7:30–7:55 p.m.

The sessions will address:

Special programs and college transition;
Large public university questions and answers;
Small private college and university questions and answers;
Transfer processes;
Financial aid;
Essay writing; and
SATs and ACTs.
