An Alamance County man is in jail on gun charges related to residential break-ins Aug. 30.

Dwayne Anthony Douglas, 44, of Willie Pace Road is accused of possession of stolen firearms, receiving stolen property, and possession of a weapon of mass destruction. He was placed under a $50,000 secured bond.

Also, N.C. Alcohol Law Enforcement charged Douglas with alcohol violations, and he received an additional $25,000 bond.

Deputies obtained a search warrant after establishing probable cause that the resident had purchased stolen guns, the Sheriff’s Office said. The search Wednesday, Oct. 11, turned up several stolen guns and a sawed-off shotgun, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The guns had been stolen in residential break-ins Aug. 30 in Alamance County. Two suspects, Antwon Fuller and Christopher K. Jeffries, were arrested Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 in those break-ins.
