The school board and superintendent are debating changing the name of our county's public school system.

Since a merger between Burlington's city schools and Alamance County schools in the mid-'90s, the hyphenated Alamance-Burlington School System has been standard.

Now Superintendent Bill Harrison is floating the idea of renaming the system as "Alamance Public Schools." He says it will signify a more unified district.

What do you think? Should there be a change?
