The Henderson County Planning Board is currently in the process of reviewing the draft East Flat Rock Community Plan.
The plan addresses topics such as natural and cultural resources, agriculture, housing, community facilities and services, transportation, economic development, land use and development, and community character and design.
The plan is designed to guide county policy for the East Flat Rock area over the next 15 years. The plan includes goals and objectives for a number of issues facing the planning area.
The public input meeting for the plan is at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hillandale Elementary.
An online survey is also available for residents, business and property owners that are unable to attend the public input meeting. Visit www.hcplanning.org to take the online survey and view the draft plan.
