A Lexington Senior High School student has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.

Rashemel Shabazz Good, 18, 415 Westside Drive was charged with misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon on school property, two counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, three counts of misdemeanor resist, obstruct and delaying officers and misdemeanor trespassing.

According to information provided by the Lexington Police Department, at approximately 9:40 a.m. officers responded to Lexington Senior High School, 26 Penry St., in reference to a student being disruptive.

Upon arrival, officers learned that Good had run from the school. Officers were able to locate and apprehend Good a few blocks from the school and take him into custody without incident. Good was found in possession of brass knuckles and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Good was placed in the Davidson County jail under a $25,000 secured bond. No court date has been set.
