Three students from Hunter Huss High School in Gastonia won an award at the 74th North Carolina DECA Career Development Conference in Greensboro, held last weekend. More than 3,500 DECA members from the across the state continued their journey at the state level with the goal of competing at the highest level at the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta. The students from Hunter Huss High School competed in the Creative Marketing Event. Diamond Huskey, Symanthia Bryson, and Josiah Wright placed fourth place with their Creative Marketing Project concerning potential advertising plan for the Believe in Abilities Boutique. Their advisor is Shelby Gilmore.
