Learn how to become a better travel photographer when Daniel Walker gives tips on capturing great shots, choosing the right camera for a trip and how to know which pictures will look better than others, during Monday's meeting of the Alamance Photography Club.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Gathering Room of Twin Lakes Community, 3701 Wade Coble Dr., Burlington. Seating may be limited, so early arrival for non-member guests is recommended.
Walker, a photographer for more than 45 years and an Alamance County native, has published photos extensively, including being selected as winner in the Life Magazine World Photographic Contest. During the last 10 years, Walker has served as a contributing columnist for the Mid-Atlantic Magazine, writing and photographing restaurants.
He is a graduate of Eastern Alamance High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Richmond. He has taught seminars in Ireland, Portugal, Germany, Virginia Commonwealth University, College of William & Mary, University of Virginia and Duke University.
