THIS WEEK'S FEATURED PETS

Marmee (tag 218): "I'm a 3 year old little girl who is very affectionate. I get so excited when I meet new people that I just have to roll over and stretch to show you how I am longing to be petted and have my ears scratched. If you want to see my silly side, give me some catnip or a toy to chase. In many ways, I'm still just like a kitten. I know how to use my litter box, just like a lady. I hope to meet you this week. My friend, the Judy Miles, named me after the character she played in the musical 'Little Women.'"

Roseanne (tag 52): "You can see that I'm not above doing something goofy to make you laugh and get your attention. I am 3 years old and weigh about 50 pounds, but I don't even realize it. I like to think I'm a lap dog, and I'm quick to curl up in your lap or even steal your chair if you leave it empty. I've met other dogs here at the shelter, when I've been out with a leash, and I did well with them. I'd love to join your household."

Mary (tag 79): I am about 2 years old. My beautiful black coat just sets off my lovely golden eyes. I know you shouldn't choose a pet based only upon looks, but if you want an elegant, sleek, classy lady, here I am to decorate your home and your lap. Underneath it all, I do have a wacky personality - just blow some bubbles for me and I will stop posing and go after them like a silly kitten, even though I never am able to catch them."
